Gold

Commodities as an asset class have had historically low correlation with stocks and bonds. Currently we have only included gold to represent this asset class. Gold provides the potential for long-term capital appreciation as well as acts as an inflation hedge. Research has proved that gold has a weak correlation with other asset classes. The gold ETF included in our portfolio effectively captures the price volatility of gold in the spot market, thereby generating a return that is equivalent to the returns in the spot market.

This ETF is designed to offer investors a simple, cost-efficient and secure way to access the precious metals market. PHAU is intended to provide investors with a return equivalent to movements in the gold spot price minus fees.
